    报告题目:Toward seamless handover: collaborative EMS planning involving pre-and-in hospital resources based on 5G-connected ambulances

    报告摘要:Achieving seamless transition between pre-hospital and in-hospital care is a fundamental goal for improving the efficiency of emergency medical services. This not only helps to improve the efficiency of treating injured and ill patients in major emergencies, but also has significant implications for meeting people's daily emergency medical needs. In recent years, the emergence of 5G-enabled ambulance services has provided an effective platform and technological support to achieve the above-mentioned goal. Under this platform, patients can receive health checks in the ambulance, and the results can be simultaneously transmitted to the hospital for consultation by in-house experts. In addition, the platform can communicate real-time medical information with various hospitals, support on-site appointments and registration, and effectively improve hospital selection efficiency. However, given the scarcity of resources both inside and outside the hospital, in the context of the 5G new technology environment, there is still a lack of relevant research on the coordinated planning and operation optimization of pre-hospital and in-hospital resources, which may lead to mismatches between upstream and downstream resources. To address this, we propose a three-stage, two-level stochastic model for seamless transition between pre-hospital and in-hospital care, by considering factors such as uncertain demand arrival, uncertain empty vehicle dispatching, and uncertain patient hospital choice behavior. The goal is to minimize waiting time and achieve coordinated planning of emergency medical service resources. Given the non-linearity and non-convexity of the model, based on the structural properties analysis, we develop a model solution framework involving a piecewise linear approximation and non-convex nested Benders decomposition, respectively. Last,  we verify the effectiveness of the model and algorithm through real emergency medical scenarios in Jinan City.


    报告人简介:于国栋,教授、博士生导师,山东大学工业工程研究所所长,山东省高校优秀青年创新团队带头人,新加坡国立大学工业与系统工程系研究员。研究方向为物流与制造系统工程理论与实践、不确定决策优化方法、应急决策方法。近五年主持国家自科重点项目课题\面上项目\青年项目、科技部重点专项课题、省重点研发项目等各类课题12项;在Transportation Research Part B/EIISE TranscationsNaval Research LogisticsOmegaIEEE Transactions on Engineering Management、系统工程理论与实践、计算机集成制造系统等国内外高水平期刊发表论文四十余篇。获山东省高校优秀成果一等奖、省社科优秀成果三等奖等各类奖励7项。
